Film to DVD digital transfer is a labor-intensive process. Here's how to do it right:
- Inspect the film for sprocket and splicing damage
- Clean and condition every inch to get years of grime off
- Repair any film and leader damage
- Digitize the film using a 3CCD camera (more vibrant colors)
- Add background music to silent film (no charge)
- Burn digitized video to DVD
- Create backup tape in case something happens to DVD
